Each Contact in your ROI account is represented using a blue dot on the Lifecycle Map. The dots are configured based upon Engagement and Profile scores in association with the lifecycle stages you have defined. Large dots on the Lifecycle Map indicate a cluster of Contacts with similar scores.

Stages: Other, Initiate, Advance, Convert, New Customer, Existing Customer

Stage

Stages represent components of the customer journey and the blue dots represent where individuals reside in their journey with your brand based on Profile and Engagement Score. You can determine Stage criteria, also known as Gate Criteria, by navigating to Admin>Stages

Profile Score

Profile Score refers to points accumulated by a Contact based on their attributes: location, job title, company size, etc... Profile attributes are often related to demographics. The Profile Score is plotted along the y-axis of the Lifecycle Map and scores can by determined by navigating to Admin>Profile Scores.

Profile Score % on the y-axis is plotted based on the number of Profile points acquired. There is a maximum Profile Score that can be found on the Profile Score page. For example, if the maximum possible score is 30 points then that equates to 100% on the Lifecycle map y-axis.

If the max Profile Score is 30 points then 30 points equates to 100% on the y-axis of the Lifecycle map. If Amanda has a Profile Score of 29 points, for example, she will plot at 96% on the Lifecycle map; 96% = (29*100)/30. If Arien has a Profile Score of 23 points she will plot on the y-axis at 76%;(23*100)/30=76%. If Kim has a Profile Score of 3 points she will plot at 10% on the y-axis; 10% = (3*100)/30.

Engagement Score

Engagement Score refers to points accumulated by a Contact based on their engagement with your brand via marketing efforts: emails, forms, social sites, websites, event attendance, etc... Engagement scores can by determined by navigating to Admin>Engagement Scores

Engagement score % is calculated by identifying the Contact that has achieved the highest Engagement Score (per Stage) and using that as the denominator. If Kim is the contact with the highest score in the Initiate stage and she has a max score of 50 then she will plot farthest to the right of the x-axis at 100%. If Amanda has 25 points she will be plot at the 50% mark on the x-axis; 10% = (25*100)/50.
