To insert an unsubscribe link in your email using the Drag and Drop or Classic Editor or to change the unsubscribe text, review this article.

Unsubscribe (All) means that the contact record will be suppressed from receiving any ROI email. Unsubscribe From Campaign means that the contact record will be suppressed only from tactics that exist in the same campaign - for example, the Monthly Newsletter Campaign. However, both unsubscribe links will appear with the text "unsubscribe," so make sure you are careful to select the correct option. ROI recommends you include both unsubscribe options.

Unsubscribe (All) inserts a link with the text Unsubscribe in the email communication. The link navigates the email recipient to a landing page where they can unsubscribe from all future communications. If the recipient confirms to unsubscribe from all on the landing page, the ROI system will then automatically change the user to EmailOptout = true and log an event to the Events table. The event type will be equal to Email Unsubscribe, so keep this in mind when creating a segment. Subsequently, when any future email tactic runs, the ROI system will suppress anyone who is associated with EmailOptout = true.

Unsub (All)

Unsubscribe From Campaign inserts a link with the text Unsubscribe in the email communication. The link navigates the email recipient to a landing page where they can confirm to unsubscribe from only the email campaign. If the recipient unsubscribes from only the campaign, then their EmailOptout will still equal false in the ROI system, but an event type will be logged on the Events table. The event type will be equal to Campaign Unsubscribe, so keep this in mind when creating a segment. Subsequently, when any email tactic runs in the same campaign, the system will suppress anyone who has an Event type of Unsubscribe for any tactic under that campaign.
