To create a segment of customers who did not open an email follow the steps below:

1. Create a segment that contains people that opened the email(s) that you referenced. This will be your exclusion segment. Your criteria for this segment would contain the following logic:


Events.TacticName = xxx
AND
Events.EventType=Email Open



2. Create a second segment that contains people that were sent the email(s). This is the base segment that you will use.

Events.TacticName = xxx
AND
Events.EventType=Email Sent


3. Add the first segment as an exclusion to the second segment that you created.

Using the exclusion removes all contacts that DID open the email, leaving you only with those that did NOT open.
